About This Site

This site was created to disseminate the findings of an analyitical review of literature on the topic of online assessment.

E-assessment is an important theme for researchers because the use of online assessment is increasing rapidly yet research surrounding its' use is limited (Walker, Topping and Rodrigues, 2008).

INTRODUCTION

This site was created to disseminate an analytical review of literature on the topic of online assessment. The analytical review was based on the selection of ten studies from nine peer-reviewed educational technology journals.

This website contains the annotated bibliography of the ten studies, the paper titled An Analytical Review of the Literature on Online Assessment, a slidecast that communicates the key points in the analytical review, and five annotated links to further resources on the subject.
